Low Sugar “Sundae” on Saturday
Easy and Delicious
1. Choose your favorite low sugar yogurt.
I like Two Good or any plain greek yogurt. If you need to sweeten, SweetLeaf Stevia drops are great
Most yogurt on the store shelf has 12 grams of sugar. The highest I have seen is 31 grams- that is almost EIGHT teaspoons of sugar in a very popular yogurt.
2. Add low sugar fruit. Blackberries. Blueberries. Strawberries. Raspberries.
3. Granola. There are many low sugar/low carbohydrate options becoming available, just remember to read the label. My favorite options are from https://alldayidreamaboutfood.com/ her Peanut Butter Power Granola or Vanilla Maple Granola from https://peaceloveandlowcarb.com/I always make a double or triple batch!
Happy Sundae on Saturday!
